    High Bush Blueberry PH adjustment

Posted by Unknown on 16th Apr 2018

Product was as advertised and Seven Springs Farm shipping was prompt, received in less than a week. Used Tiger Organic Sulfur for lowering soil PH around high bush blueberry plants but have to wait to see results.

Stays put where you place it.

The sulfur pellets are designed to provide maximum product exposure while keeping them in intimate contact with the soil. I was a little skeptical at first while placing the material down for the first time. Application was 100lbs for 14000 sq ft of Zoysia and Bermuda grass stands on loamy sandy soil, the grasses needing slightly acidic pH. Setting for the spreader was "4", and got good consistent coverage over the entire lawn.

After using a Scotts Accu-Spreader, it was apparent that the manufacturer put a lot of thought into designing it's product, which aide in keeping the sulfur down on the soil and stable. Doing so, it guarantees that the soil gets maximum exposure after application, dissolving slowly over time with little loss.

    Great product.

I haven't used it yet and even when I do it will be at least a year before I see any results. The price was great and shipping was quick and reasonably priced.

    PH adjustment

Posted by John Gasser on 1st Aug 2013

We bought this product to get the PH down in the Blueberry Permaculture. Our land was row cropped for many years and getting the soil right after many years of adding lime each year is a real task. However, it seems to work.
