Feeding Rate: 1 lb treats 1 ton of feed or mix 1/2 tsp. to a 5 gallon bucket of feed or 25 lbs. Small pet rate: For dogs add a good pinch between thumb and forefinger per 100 lbs of body weight per day. The following is what we are told to do for cats. "The 1 lb bag is designed to treat 2000# of mixed grains. Then a chicken would eat 6 oz per day of mixed feed average. So 1 lb divided by 2000 lbs = .05%. So if a cat ate about 6 oz of food per day then they would get .003 oz per day or .086 grams or 86 mg per day. If you can weigh that, more power to you. I would go with a pinch if it was me."
