We accept If you use AmEx we have to add 1% fee.
For Tax Exempt Customers in VA Only:
Please call or email before placing your order online, but after you have set up an account. We will confirm tax exempt status and modify your account accordingly.
For tax exempt requests after order completion we will not issue a credit. We will set up one tax exempt account per customer.
Out of State sales are not subject to tax collection.
For complex orders or large amounts of products: call us before placing your order for the best shipping quote. We can not adjust your total after the order has been placed.
For picking up at the farm, please call before coming out. Directions to the Farm
Coop orders - We encourage cooperative purchasing to save you money and travel time. Contact other gardeners, growers, home owners, or even food buying club and organize an order with these people. Larger volume discounts are available.
Special order items and all mail order items in this catalog must be pre-paid by credit card, money order or check.
About our Shipping Methods and Shipping Policies - We ship all small & large items by UPS or Priority Mail. We ship Monday thru Friday 8 am to 3 pm. All orders received after 3 pm generally ship the next day unless we are backlogged with orders. Orders placed on the weekend will ship on Monday based on first come first serve. Expedited Shipping orders; (such as Next Day Air, 2nd Day or 3 Day Select) that are placed on the weekend will be shipped on Monday. We do NOT ship over the weekend.
Shipping Bulk Deliveries - Deliveries are available for larger orders of full or partial pallets. We receive reasonable trucking prices with fast service direct to you. Please call or e-mail for a shipping price.
About our Packaging -
Some of our plastic bags that we put items into, for mail order, are made from recycled or reclaimed plastic. We also collect used packing peanuts and foam board from local stores for use in our shipping department. We also have a cardboard shredder and us that material as well in mail order. Our in house bagged items are packaged in an Eco-paper bag that is biodegradable/compostable.
Policy on returns and canceled orders -
All returns - Items are subject to inspection to ensure they have not been opened. We will not accept returns on opened or damaged products. If you choose to return an item, you are responsible for the return shipping cost. We will refund your product cost only by check via US Mail, store credit or a refund to your credit card. We will need a copy of your purchase invoice for all returns.
Shortage or Damage - All issues must be reported within 3 days of receipt of your products. Claims made after this time frame are not eligible for reimbursement.
Truck Freight returns- Freight returns are subject to a restocking fee of $25 - $50 per pallet.
Drop ship (DS) and non stock returns: These items are not returnable or refundable.
Canceled orders - If the order was already processed and you decide to cancel before it is shipped out, then you will be charged a bookkeeping fee to cover our costs. All refunds will be made by check via US Mail or a refund to your credit card.
Returned Check Fee - $30.00
ADDITIONAL DELIVERY INFORMATION FOR FREIGHT ORDERS:
- If you did not specifically request ‘notification prior to delivery‘, the carrier may attempt delivery of your order without any notification.
- Someone MUST be available to accept delivery when the carrier arrives.
- If you need to make specific delivery arrangements you must contact the carrier prior to delivery. PLEASE NOTE: Any new services requested at this time (such as a liftgate, etc.) will result in additional charges to you.
- Seven Springs Farm will not approve re-delivery attempts unless any associated charges have been pre-paid.
- If action or inaction on your part results in the order being undeliverable, the product may be returned to Seven Springs Farm. Refunds will be issued less any restocking fees, original shipping charges and recovery/return freight charges. Re-shipment of the order will result in additional freight charges (recovery/return & re-delivery charges).
