Sunflower hull ash (0-4-34) + 8% calcium, 4% sulfur, 4% magnesium, .05% boron, 0.11% iron, 0.11% sodium, 335 ppm zinc, 165 ppm manganese, 4.5 ppm molybdenum, 1 ppm cobalt. Screened to 100 mesh, making it a completely soluble potassium from renewable source (not mined) with 4% phosphorus plus trace elements.
Enriches the soil and tempers acidity. Improves soil structure and microbial flora. Its high pH (~10) is beneficial for flowers and perennials when mixed with compost and other organic materials. Not recommended in alkaline soils with acidity pH 7 and above, or for plants that prefer sour (acidic) soil: blueberries, azaleas, camellias, rhododendrons, hydrangeas, heathers, conifers and a few others.
