A redhard winter wheat for use as a grain crop or sometimes used as a spring cover crop. As a grain crop it can yield 40-60 Bu/Acre and abundant straw or it can be chopped green for high quality grass hay. Sown in the fall it will head out around the middle of May. Planted in the spring it will usually die before setting seed.
