Steel hex deer fencing includes 35 lb tensile strength per strand and is made of 20 gauge galvanized steel that will resist all attempts by deer or other small animals to chew through to the other side. Additionally, it is PVC coated to protect the steel from wear and tear that can be caused by the elements.  The 1 inch mesh grid design of steel hex fencing is also stronger than traditional square mesh designs--all of these features combined gives you a fence that will remain effective for 20-30 years. The black coating of this fence, aside from protecting it, also creates a fence that will be unnoticeable from as close as 20 feet.
