Overview
An excellent source of organic matter, grows in marginal soils, reduces erosion and has an allelopathic action that suppresses weeds. Good at absorbing leftover nitrogen from previous crops. Very winter hardy.
Due to our bagging the seed into smaller sizes, it is no longer considered Certified Organic.
2.5 - 3.3 lb per 1,000 sq ft or 110 - 140 lb per acre when sown alone, or 1.2 lb per 1,000 sq ft or 50 - 60 lb per acre when sown in mixture with a winter annual legume.
