- ROW COVER SUPPORTS 8 FT LONG, Our row cover supports are a 1/4" fiberglass rod that is coated with a thick UV plastic to protect your hands. They last a long time and are very easy to use and storage is fast and convenient.
This .55 oz fabric provides 95% light transmission. 2-4 degree frost protection. An excellent insect barrier. This weight fabric is the most popular one we sell. It is also softer and less abrasive than other fabrics we have sold in the past.
Note - frost protection varies due to many variables in the environment.
Row covers are best use over crops with support hoops to hold the row covers over top of the crops. There are many different types of fasteners that are sold on the market to hold down the ends of the fabric but we recommend using any of the following: sandbags, pots filled with soil, pipes or wood.
