BlueGold® Nitrogen is 100% water-soluble protein hydrolysates and is derived from soy. It is sodium-free. BlueGold® Nitrogen can be applied by ground or air application to plants, through drench, drip or flood irrigation or foliar spray. Nitrogen inputs can prevent or correct nitrogen deficiencies that could limit growth and yields. BlueGold® Nitrogen is non-toxic to plants when used as directed. Protein Hydrolysates work well with other fertilizers, except for products containing high levels of calcium. It can be used as a chelator. The material does not attract pests, rodents, insects, or animals.

What is Protein Hydrolysate? They are a complex mixture of amino acids that are produced through hydrolysis. Hydrolysis is a method of adding water to a material and processed using a catalyst (i.e. enzymes) in the breakdown of the material.
