When you do business with Seven Springs Farm Supply you are supporting other farmers. Many of us on staff also have farms and homesteads of our own. We raise cattle, sheep, goats, poultry, donkeys, cut flowers, vegetables, fruit trees, berries, herbs, hemp and more. We are also raising families in our small mountain community. Your support helps keep our community and small farms going.
Thank you.

Ron and Lorrie Juftes - Owners
Eric Sharp - CEO
Eric began his journey with Seven Springs in the Spring of 2015. Having been away from the area for many years serving in the military, he is happy to be back home and close to family. Eric holds a whole host of responsibilities here and as of 2021 he is our CEO. He brings his background in logistics and problem-solving abilities to work with him every day. In his spare time, you can find Eric working on his farm and enjoying his family.

Daniel Sweeney – Crop Adviser
Daniel joined the Seven Springs team in 2018 after 15 years in vineyards, nurseries, orchards and farms around the country. In 2017, Daniel, his wife and their children returned to the family homestead in Floyd. Together they raise livestock, veggies, herbs and flowers and Daniel keeps a good crop of sunflowers growing under his bird feeders.
Scott Pierce – Purchasing Manager
Scott is returning to his roots in purchasing after 13 years of running Sherwin Williams stores in North Carolina. He lives at the foot of Buffalo Mountain in Willis, VA with his wife Cassie (who happens to be Seven Springs Bookkeeper) and his two kids, in a round house they built together using only books and youtube videos.
Jeff Sherwood – Sales
Jeff grew up in northern VA. After service in the US Navy, he worked in the fields of environmental science, biology, environmental restoration, carpentry and timber framing. He and his family left the hustle and bustle of the city and moved to Floyd for a more tranquil life. Today, Jeff is the happiest he has ever been and enjoys spending time with his amazing wife (and best friend) and two beautiful daughters. He joined the Seven Springs team in 2021 and we are very happy to have him aboard.
Tim Bell - Sales & Livestock Specialist
Tim joined the Seven Springs team in 2019. After graduating from Virginia Tech, Tim gained experience in greenhouses and livestock-based regenerative agriculture on commercial farms here in Virginia. He recently returned home, to Floyd, to start his own pastured poultry operation. Tim also has a history of raising and judging dairy goats.
Alena Ivakhnenko - Mail Order & Marketing
After many travels and work in forests and farms around the country, Alena settled in Floyd in 2019. Alena brings her superior organizational and artistic skills to her work here at Seven Springs, both in the warehouse and in our marketing efforts. Having run her own cut flower farm, Alena enjoys engaging with and supporting her fellow organic farmers through her work at Seven Springs. When she's not working or navigating mud season in Vermont, Alena can be found listening to podcasts and hanging out with her cats.
Cassie Pierce - Bookkeeper
Cassie Pierce, along with Scott (who happens to be Seven Springs Purchasing Manager) and their two kids, moved to Floyd County in 2011. Since 2018 she has lent her administrative and bookkeeping skills to Seven Springs Farm, collaborating with the rest of the staff to grow and expand the business. When she’s not in the Seven Springs office keeping track of orders and invoices, she can be found on her homestead at the base of Buffalo Mountain, spending time with her family.
Adam Strasbaugh – Farm Manager & Groundskeeper
Adam moved to Floyd in 2020 from Boone, NC where he was a sustainable farming instructor for Appalachian State University and owner of a market garden. Adam is working with Ron to manage the fields, woods and landscapes at Seven Springs. He and his family could not be happier living in Floyd.
Chris Chyzik – Mail Order
Prior to joining the Seven Springs team in 2021, Chris was a rural mail carrier in Floyd and Riner. Chris has a keen interest in sustainable agriculture and business development. He graduated from Old Dominion University in 2017 with a degree in Finance and has always enjoyed helping people and solving problems. When not at work, Chris is either hiking, snowboarding, playing drums, or spending time with loved ones.
Aaron Quesenberry – Freight
Aaron is a Floyd County native and grew up in Indian Valley, about 20 miles from Seven Springs. He recently built his first greenhouse where he spends a lot of his after-hours time. He is a long time lover of both nature and retro gaming. He lives with his girlfriend and their children nearby in Check.
Matthew Cantrell - Freight & Livestock Specialist
Matthew has worked in various expressions of agriculture since before he can remember. In 2017, he, his wife and four children came to Floyd from Georgia, where Matthew managed the small ruminant herds at White Oak Pastures. Matthew is passionate about holistic livestock management, working dogs (specifically Australian Kelpies) and Old-time music, but likes his family better than anything else. Matthew is the handsomest guy on the 7 Springs team, probably because he is 5% polecat.
Eddie Bush - Warehouse
Eddie joined the team in 2022 and has quickly shown us what real forklift skills look like. As a Florida native, Eddie's skills include alligator wrestling, truck unstucking and general (but extreme) coolness.
