From Certis USA, Des-X is a natural insecticide and miticide made from 47% potassium salts of fatty acids (insecticidal soap). Des-X works upon contact, breaking down the cuticle and penetrating the body of the insect. It is effective on adult, larval, and nymph stages of pest. No residual effects after drying, allowing for a knockdown and then use of beneficial insects. Do not mix with sulfur.

Des-X is also a deer repellent.

For field application, use a 2% dilution (2 gallons in 100 gallons of water or 2.56 fl oz per gallon of water) at a rate of 75 - 100 gallons per acre.
For deer repellent, use a 2% dilution (2.5 oz in 1 gallon of water) at a minimum of 10 gallons per acre.
