Autumn planting was quick to germinate. Broadcast spread, cut grass on top, no need to till and rake in.

Overview

Trifolium incarnatum. Beautiful summer annual often seeded in fall for spring biomass. Frost tolerant and hardy to -5°F. Fixes N, suppresses weeds, attracts beneficial insects and helps prevent erosion. Does well in combination with oats and other cereal grains.

The crimson clover we offer may be uncoated or it may have an OMRI-listed coating. Please call us to find out about the current stock. If current stock is uncoated, a legume inoculant is recommended.

15 lbs/acre drilled, 25 lbs/acre (0.6 lbs/1000 sq ft) broadcast. Ideal planting window is 45-60 days before avg. first freeze.
