A marine-based alternative to traditional steamed bone meal and a great source of organic phosphorus and calcium (12%-17%). Derived from fresh cuttings of marine white fish processed for human consumption. The raw material is cooked and the bone is separated and dried under high temperature-short time conditions. The meal is a light brown in color and is a free flowing powder with a mild fish smell and free from any foreign material or bone pieces.
The guaranteed minimum analysis as per the feed label is 5-6-0. (Note that Phosphorus is listed at 3% on the label. P2O5 = P x 2.29) However, typical analysis shows 14+% P2O5.
