Overview
Apply RootShield PLUS before roots have emerged or fully developed. The fungi grows on roots to form a “shield” to prevent pathogens from damaging the roots. It will protect field-grown crops, plugs, cuttings, liners, and all container plants from diseases for up to 120 days.
Two active ingredients: Trichoderma harzianum Rifai strain T-22, and Trichoderma virens strain G-41. Preventative control of major root diseases including soilborne Phytophthora, Rhizoctonia, Pythium, Fusarium, Thielaviopsis, and Cylindrocladium. Active over a wide range of temperatures: 48 - 97F and pH 4 - 8. Induces host resistance and helps plants cope with abiotic stress.
Do NOT apply to sugarcane, pechay (bok choi), rice, mushrooms, kiwi, tobacco, barley, oats, lemon, apple, and chickpea. Not for use on aquatic crops.
