Overview

Sorghum x drummondii. Thin-stemmed, multi-cut hybrid. Early-maturing, high leaf-to-stem ratio. Will grow to 8' if left uncut. Contributes a large amount of biomass. Also reduces compaction, suppresses weeds, and helps prevent erosion. Good as a stand-alone cover crop or in mixes with other summer annuals.

35 lbs/acre drilled, 50 lbs/acre (1.15 lbs/1000 sq ft) broadcast. Ideal planting window is between 55 days after avg. last freeze to 65 days before avg. first freeze.
