Overview
Planted in early spring ahead of late-summer/fall vegetables, or in August as a fall cover crop that will die down if winter temperatures fall below 10 to 18°F for early spring cultivation. Can be planted alone or mixed with legumes.
2.5 lb /1,000 sq ft or 80 - 100 lb / acre planted alone, or 1.2 lb / 1,000 sq ft or 50 lb / acre, when planted with a legume.
