Overview

Sacale cereale. Hardy down to -30°F or below, this cereal grain produces abundand biomass in the spring. Can germinate even in cold soils. Excellent for weed suppression, nutrient scavenging/cycling and erosion prevention. Works well in mixes with peas and clovers.

Organic seed is non-returnable.

110 lbs/acre drilled, 145 lbs/acre (3.3 lbs/1000 sq ft) broadcast. Ideal planting windows are 15-55 days before avg. first freeze, and 30-45 days before avg. last freeze.
Handler's certificates are found on the Certification & Registration page. We recommend that you also save your seed label as you will need it for your certifying agency inspection.
