Overview

A winter-hardy blend of winter rye, hairy vetch and tillage radish designed to keep soil in place over winter, improve soil structure and drainage, and provide nitrogen for spring crops. Also improves biomass and weed suppression, and encourages beneficial insect populations. Exact blend and percentages are subject to change, please call us to find out about current stock. Legume inoculant recommended.

Organic seed is non-returnable.

50 lbs/acre drilled, 75 lbs/acre (1.7 lbs/1000 sq ft) broadcast. Ideal planting window is 45-60 days prior to first freeze.
